Weaver Popcorn Company, a family-owned and operated business and the global leader in the popcorn industry, was founded in 1928 by Reverend Ira Weaver. When Ira set out to make the world's finest popcorn, he selectively chose Indiana farmland as the starting point, shucking and bagging his own carefully-grown popcorn, then personally delivering it to his customers with the assistance of a horse-drawn wagon.
Weaver Popcorn Company built its unmatched reputation by partnering with the most dedicated and progressive farmers to grow the world's best popcorn, eventually expanding its family of farmers throughout the entire United States Corn Belt across seven states.
Over its 90 year history, Weaver Popcorn Company developed into a vertically-integrated business, delivering a broad array of popcorn products. This includes seed, bulk kernels, portion packs, microwave popcorn and ready-to-eat popcorn throughout the United States and in more than 90 countries worldwide. After four generations in the Weaver family, under the leadership of Ira, Welcome, Mike, and now Will, popcorn remains their #1 passion, ensuring that all their products are the best-tasting, the best quality, and the best for you, regardless of where they are grown, processed, manufactured, packaged and sold around the globe.
This fourth generation, family owned operation now has three independent operating companies, including Weaver Popcorn Hybrids, Weaver Popcorn Bulk, and Weaver Popcorn Manufacturing to fully leverage its expertise in popcorn and better serve its various customers with their own unique needs.
